The first SPMT rapid bridge dismantling project in Jiangsu

On the evening of April 19th at 10 o'clock, as SPMT transported the Ningqi Railway Bridge to the designated area for stable installation, after more than 5 hours, the L ramp bridge and Ningqi Railway Bridge at the Dinghuo Hub of the Beijing Shanghai Expressway, which were undertaken by Zhonghai Guangying, were successfully dismantled and completed within the specified time. The Yihuai Huaihe River section of the 图片.png Beijing Shanghai Expressway is an important part of the national expressway network from Beijing to Shanghai, and is a major transportation channel that runs through the north and south of our province. The eight lane widening of the 259.5 kilometer four lane expressway is the longest and largest highway renovation and expansion project in Jiangsu's history, and is expected to be completed by 2023. Starting from 5 pm on April 19th, four sets of SPMT modular vehicles with a total of 40 axes drove onto the high-speed Beijing Shanghai mainline, using SPMT to lift nearly 700 tons of steel box girders from the L ramp. After the owner cut the bridge section, the vehicles turned 90 degrees and slowly headed towards the drop off area. After precise positioning, the module car gradually lowers the beam to make contact with the support until the position of the beam completely matches the corner point of the support, and then the module car drops the beam and returns. The entire process only took 3 hours, which is 4 hours shorter than the expected homework time. Time is tight and tasks are heavy. At the same time, the demolition work of the overpass bridge on the Laoningqi Railway, which is several kilometers away, was completed at 10 pm on the 19th, taking 5 hours, 2 hours earlier than the original planned operation time. This project has a small construction area, high risk factor, and many uncertain safety factors. It requires cross coordination among various construction processes, construction teams, and machinery, as well as high skill levels of operators. This is the first time in Jiangsu Province that the SPMT module roof lifting technology has been used to demolish bridges on highways.
