Recently, our company completed the first voyage of the GCGV PE module weighing and loading project. As the world's first modular olefin facility project, the GCGV PE project will become the world's largest ethylene production plant upon completion. The owner has undertaken the manufacturing of 18 modules, and all equipment has now been manufactured.
uses SPMT combined with weighing sensors to weigh 18 modules, including the weight and center of gravity position of the equipment. When weighing larger modules, there are up to 45 sensing points of the sensors, and on-site vehicle operators and observers always pay attention to whether the height of each point is consistent. After weighing
18 modules, they will be sent to Houston, USA in three voyages. In order to save time and actively cooperate with the owner's schedule, the loading period is 24 hours, with loading during the day and vehicle condition changes at night. This loading operation is the first roll on/roll off operation in the Haimen area and also the first time berthing a 60000 ton vessel. Our project team successfully completed the roll on/roll off loading operation in a tight schedule, heavy tasks, and high requirements, and also won unanimous praise from all parties of the owner, laying a good foundation for future cooperation.
