In November 2016, Three Gorges Group launched the construction of the first phase of the 300000 ton kilowatt offshore wind farm project (prototype test wind farm) in Xinghua Bay, Fuqing, with a total investment of about 1.8 billion yuan. It became the world's first international high-power offshore wind power test farm, and as a transportation service provider, CNOOC Guangying provided comprehensive transportation services for high-power wind turbines, blades, and other wind power equipment. It is reported that the first phase of the Fuqing Xinghua Bay offshore wind farm (prototype test wind farm) project has a total of 14 machine positions arranged, with a total investment of 1.83 billion yuan. The GE 6MW unit, as the star product of this test wind farm, is currently the largest offshore wind turbine in China and has attracted much attention. In the
6MW unit, the blade length reaches 75 meters, and the distance between the two force points is more than 50 meters. It must be transported as a whole plate, and there were no suitable vehicles for transportation in China at one point.
