The first steel shell of the Shenzhong Tunnel has started transportation, and a big drama of "ants moving elephants" is taking place! The E1 pipe section of the deep middle channel is 123.5 meters long, 46 meters wide, and 10.6 meters high. It adopts a steel shell concrete composite structure, with a steel shell weight of 8716 tons.
It is understood that a complete pipe joint has a displacement of 80000 tons, which is equivalent to the displacement of a medium-sized aircraft carrier. In the project, Zhonghai Guangying has provided technical consulting services for the first steel shell of the Shenzhong Channel with rich practical experience and excellent technical support. According to the technical solution provided by Zhonghai Guangying, 52 ship moving carts are used as the main load-bearing equipment for this operation, and 136 axis power module flatbed trucks (SPMT) are used as auxiliary load-bearing and main driving equipment. The ship moving carts and power module flatbed trucks are synchronized in real-time through computers to complete transportation and transfer.
