Keppel Group is a multinational enterprise group based in Singapore, listed in Singapore. Its subsidiaries and branches are located in 30 countries around the world. The cooperation between Keppel and China began in the early 1980s. In the maritime industry, Keppel Offshore and Maritime is one of the largest offshore and maritime groups in the world, and is a leader in global offshore drilling platform construction. The Upperhull module of the semi submersible platform is being transported at the Jibao Nantong base. The scope of work for CNOOC Guangying this time is to pick up and move the module construction site to the dock front for roll on/roll off to the designated deck and position it. The module translation will start at 4:30 am on February 13th, and the roll on/roll off loading time will be around 6:40 am. The
module is 120 meters long, 63 meters wide, 28 meters high, and weighs 5400 tons; Equipment jointly invested: 204 axis+6 PPU. It is very difficult to roll on and roll off the "Big Mac" with a total load capacity of 6000 tons onto the ship. The 204 axis of the self-propelled modular vehicle itself has 816 wheels, and the difficulty of synchronous operation can be imagined. Therefore, the entire transportation process poses a very severe test on the technical indicators of the axis vehicle and the operational skills of all operators. In order to ensure the safety of roll on/roll off operations, the Zhonghai Guangying technical team has developed a transportation plan that has been meticulously calculated and demonstrated; The project team analyzed and studied each link, developed detailed project implementation rules, and clearly assigned responsibilities to each employee and job position participating in the project; Before the implementation of the project, organize a pre job meeting for all personnel participating in the work, clarify the division of labor, and implement it to each person. This is the first semi submersible platform UpperHull roll on/roll off in the marine engineering field implemented by CNOOC Guangying, marking another milestone after the first PSV whole ship translational launch record two months ago.
