The
ship loader is a large bulk material machinery used in ports for loading cargo onto bulk terminals. The special purpose ship loader (divided into six parts, two main engines, two sets, and two tail trucks for transportation) carried by our company in this project cannot meet the loading requirements in the crane operation area of the ship. Therefore, we need to use SPMT to move the ship loader to the front of the dock for loading. In order to successfully complete this transportation task, our company conducted a detailed road survey and preliminary preparation on site, and made corresponding feasible plans. For this project, our company has invested 66 axes and 4 PPUs. The difficulty of this on-site reshipment lies in: ① The shape of the goods is irregular, and the center of gravity is significantly different from the geometric center; ② High center of gravity, poor stability during transportation; ③ The weight of the goods is relatively light, and during transportation, it is necessary to overcome the displacement of the goods caused by insufficient friction; ④ Add tooling: solve the problem of cargo stress. Faced with strong competitors, our company's solution stood out and successfully overcame various unfavorable factors such as limited transportation space, poor transportation stability, and insufficient dock carrying capacity. This project has pioneered the use of SPMT transport loaders for the first time in China, providing another loading method for future similar product services and opening up a new flat construction method for similar products.
